I posted this in the discussion for the book announcement on the main page but, I wanted to post it in these forums as well.

Check the events link on the runbare.com site (http://www.runbare.com/category/events/ ) and, if Michael and Jessica come to a town near you, it's well worth your time to go see them in person.

You'll get a first-hand version of some of the information covered in the book, a chance to ask them questions, and an opportunity to purchase a book (and get it signed) at the end of the clinic.

I went with my wife and we had a great time and got a ton of good information. Both Michael and Jessica share some of their personal experiences and the session is very interactive and fun.

If you have a spouse or friend who hasn't quite gotten on board with running (shod or barefoot), bring them along. My wife has decided to start running with me after listening and learning from Michael and Jessica - I'm still working on getting her to go barefoot but she'll be wearing VFFs for now.

So, my advice is: check the link for times/dates near you, go and support them on their efforts to get the word out about their book and running intelligently. You'll have a great time and probably learn a few things too!
